Class of 1982 Scholarship Awarded

The Clearwater High School class of 1982 presented a $500 scholarship award on May 6, 2025.  This is the second consecutive scholarship provided to a graduating Clearwater High School senior.

We are thrilled to announce our scholarship winner is Princesa Caretto Hernandez.  She was selected by our committee as a result of her high GPA, involvement in clubs, sports and community involvement.  Her community involvement influenced her choice to seek a career in dental medicine while volunteering at the Hispanic Outreach Center.  She learned that dental care, education and access were lacking in this community.  Princesa plans to obtain her education in Dental Hygiene followed by a doctorate in Dental Medicine.  We wish Princesa a successful journey and congratulate her!
