Tampa Bay History Center

Hello!
My name is Melyssa Dawson.

I am currently working on a panel with the Tampa Bay History Center entitled ‘1971-2021: 50 years of School Desegregation in Hillsborough County.’ This panel seeks to give voices to various backgrounds and insights of high school students regarding the desegregation in the early 1970s. I am now looking for information from high school caucasian females during the years 1971,1972, and 1973 regarding their experiences and thoughts on the desegregation that was occurring during those years.
I would love to be able to get into contact with some students who meet these criteria and was hoping that by reaching out to the Alumni Association, I could be assisted with some leads.
