Online Yearbooks
Fred Wilder recently posted on FB that you can find many yearbooks from CHS at the Clearwater Library. People are always asking me for their yearbooks and now I know where to send them! I went to the site and it was just incredible. There was a yearbook from 1917!!
The Clearwater Public Library System owns the archives of the Clearwater Sun Newspaper (1914-1989), including more than 60,000 photographs and a clipping archive. Extant copies of the newspaper have been digitized and are available at PinellasMemory.org, .https://pinellasmemory.contentdm.oclc.org/digital/
In addition to the Sun collection, the library’s holdings include city directories dating to 1914, a magazine archive, a community memory project, and historical materials from the city and civic groups. The library actively partners with the Pinellas Public Library Cooperative and local institutions such as the Clearwater Historical Society.
